Product description

LD 100 I is a spray and brush-on concentrate against flies based on imidacloprid. LD 100 I is effective for up to 4 weeks in cattle, pig and laying hen houses through targeted application to fly-infested areas by spraying or brushing.

Storage and shelf life

Shelf life: 36 months. Protect from sunlight. The product contains a bittering agent.

Indoor (industrial/commercial premises, households, private and public areas) and indoor (animal stables).

Application method

Coating of cardboard blanks. To treat a room/building/animal stable with a floor area of 100 m², disperse 250 g of product in 250 mL of water. The solution should be applied to cardboard blanks with a total area of 1 m². The cardboard blanks should then be distributed in the area to be treated. Up to 6 applications per year.

Do not apply the biocidal product directly to building surfaces (e.g. walls). Do not use in areas that are wet cleaned, rinsed or sprayed.

Risk mitigation measures

Always read the label or leaflet before use and follow all instructions. Keep away from food, drink and animal feed. Avoid contact of the product with food, feed, kitchen utensils and preparation surfaces. Keep away from children and pets. Treated cardboard blanks and equipment should be kept out of the reach of children and pets. Do not use in the presence of children and pets. Avoid unnecessary contact with the biocidal product.

Misuse may cause damage to health. The biocidal product may only be applied to non-absorbent cardboard blanks. These must be attached to walls and ceilings in places where flies prefer to stay. The area where the biocidal product is mixed and applied to the cardboard blanks must be covered with disposable plastic sheeting to prevent contamination of adjacent surfaces and floors. Dispose of the plastic film in the household waste after the product has been applied to the cardboard blanks.

When handling the product, wear chemical-resistant protective gloves (the glove material must be specified by the authorization holder in the product information) and a disposable protective suit of at least EN 13034 type 6 (or equivalent).

Product and residues/residues of the mixed product must not get into the ground, watercourses, drains or onto liquid or dry manure. Contaminated materials and equipment (e.g. brushes) must not be cleaned in sinks. When painting the cardboard blanks, an untreated edge should be left. When attaching and collecting the treated cardboard blanks, only the untreated edge should be touched. The treated cardboard blanks must not be cleaned. Pick up and dispose of spilled biocidal product immediately.

The product can be used in the presence of farm animals if contact with the product is avoided. Keep treated cardboard blanks out of the reach of livestock. Before cleaning and/or disinfecting an animal dwelling, remove all cardboard blanks treated with the biocidal product. Do not apply the biocidal product directly to manure. Store only in the original container. Do not mix with other waste. Containers containing product waste must be handled accordingly.
