Fly trap

The Silence® fly trap lures annoying flies into the trap body with a special attractant, from which they can no longer escape. This reduces the nuisance in patio and garden areas and reduces the risk of pathogen transmission.

Area of application

Suitable for outdoor use: patios, gardens, playgrounds and similar areas. Bees and other beneficial insects are not actively attracted by the attractant.

Instructions for use

1. Open the lid by turning it.
2. Pour warm water (600 ml) over the water-soluble bait bag already in the trap body up to the mark on the right-hand end of the label, allowing the bag to dissolve completely.
3. Close the lid, then pull up the upper part of the lid and hang or set up the trap.
4. Optimal location: warm, sunny place. The attracting effect is activated by UV radiation within 2-3 days.
5. Recommendation for placement: 3 traps, each about 5 m from the area to be protected.
6. Product is effective for up to 8 weeks. Refill pack available; refill when the warning color of the attractant has visibly faded or earlier in case of heavy evaporation.
7. Check the water level regularly so that the trap does not dry out. As soon as the trap is filled with dead flies, remove or replace it.

Shelf life: 3 years.
