Product description

Killtec ultra is a product for controlling stable flies as a spray and coating agent. The effect is immediate and lasts for up to four weeks if used appropriately.

Application

Spray application

Stir the contents of the Killtec ultra bottle (1,000 ml) into 10 liters of water. Spray the resulting emulsion on the areas preferred by flies (walls, ceilings, pillars, window and door frames) (approx. 40 ml/m²). It is sufficient to treat about 40 % of the wall surface where the flies mainly stay. Always prepare the spray mixture fresh and use immediately. Ensure adequate ventilation during and after application.

Coating application

Dissolve 2 kg of sugar in 10 l of warm water and stir in the contents of Killtec ultra (1,000 ml). Apply the solution with a brush to surfaces that cannot be licked by animals. Here too, it is sufficient to treat about 40% of the preferred wall surface. Prepare a new coating solution for each application and use immediately. Ensure adequate ventilation during and after application.

Note

The effect is immediate. Do not apply the product directly to animals. After application, ensure that the stable is well ventilated for at least 24 hours. Do not spray on acrylic glass pipes. The coating can be removed at any time by wiping with water and a little washing-up liquid. Cover surfaces in the immediate vicinity that are not to be treated. A safety data sheet is available on request for professional users. The manufacturer cannot accept any liability for the application, as this is beyond its control.

For your attention

After this pack has been used up, a product with a different active ingredient should be used to prevent the development of resistance in flies. The LD 100/Killtec system with different active ingredients has been developed so that fewer resistance problems occur when used alternately. Ask your dealer about this.

Recommendation

When using fly control products, we also recommend controlling maggots in the manure channel or in calf bedding. Our product Fly tomb against fly maggots is recommended for this purpose.

Cleaning the equipment

Rinse the sprayer, bucket and brush with as little water as possible, add a household detergent to the water. It is best to dispose of the dirty solution at the local hazardous waste collection point (see disposal instructions).
