LD 100 B is an insecticide for controlling stable flies and is effective immediately after application. It is intended for both spray and brush application and is effective for up to four weeks.

Application – Spraying

For spray application, mix the contents of an LD 100 bottle (500 ml) with 5 l of water. Apply the resulting emulsion to the areas preferred by flies (walls, ceilings, pillars, window and door frames) at a rate of approx. 40 ml/m². It is sufficient to treat approx. 40 % of the wall surface where the flies mainly stay. The effect is immediate.

Application – Painting

For the coating application, dissolve 1 kg of sugar in 5 l of warm water and stir in the contents of an LD 100 bottle (500 ml). Apply the solution with a brush to the areas occupied by flies. Only treat areas that cannot be licked by animals. It is sufficient to treat about 40 % of the wall surface concerned.

Safety and notes

• Ensure adequate ventilation during and after application; in particular, ensure good ventilation of the stable for the following 24 hours.
• Do not spray on acrylic glass cables.
• Coatings can be removed at any time by wiping with water and a little washing-up liquid.
• It is advisable to cover areas in the immediate vicinity that are not to be treated.
• The manufacturer cannot accept any liability in connection with the application, as this is beyond its control.

Resistance prevention

After this pack has been used up, a product with a different active ingredient should be used to prevent the development of resistance. The LD 100 system was developed in such a way that alternating sprays with different active ingredients minimizes resistance problems. Ask your dealer for the next pack of LD 100.

Recommendation

When using the LD 100 series, maggot control in the slurry channel or in calf bedding is also recommended. Fly tomb 4GR or Cyracid 2.0 are recommended for this purpose.

Cleaning the equipment

Rinse the sprayer, bucket and brush with as little water as possible and add a little household detergent to the water. It is best to hand over the dirty solution in the delivery container to the local hazardous waste collection point. Safety data sheet is available for professional users at the address given.

Disposal instructions

• Do not reuse empty packaging.
• Do not dispose of old stocks and residues with household waste.
• Do not empty residues down the sink or toilet, but dispose of them in accordance with local regulations at the prescribed hazardous waste/hazardous waste collection points.
