Killtec agro plus is a combination insecticide for the control of stable flies, maggots and other flying and crawling pests. It combines a long-lasting contact effect, an immediate effect when sprayed and a larvicidal effect for treating breeding sites in slurry channels.

Application as a stable spray

1. Dilute 1 liter of Killtec agro plus with 10 liters of water.
2. Spray the prepared spray mixture with a backpack sprayer on the surfaces occupied by flies (approx. 40 ml/m²). Include bays and partition walls of animal pens, joists, beams and posts, window glass and frames as well as wall and ceiling surfaces in the spraying to prevent the flies from moving onto untreated surfaces.
3. 11 liters of spray mixture (1 L product + 10 L water) are sufficient for up to 500 m² of barn area; however, it is sufficient to treat approx. 40 % of the wall area where flies prefer to stay.
4. The prepared spray mixture must be applied on the same day.

Application for maggot control

Dilute 1 liter of Killtec agro plus with 10 liters of water. Spray into the manure channels (the preferred breeding grounds of fly maggots) using a backpack sprayer. Finely distribute 100 ml of ready-to-use solution over approx. 1 m²; 11 liters are sufficient for approx. 110 m².

Against flies, horseflies, mosquitoes and crawling pests. Can be used in stables.

Note

It can be applied in occupied stables, but not in the vicinity of young animals. Large animals must not be able to reach or lick the coating. Do not spray onto feed or milking equipment! After application, ensure that the barn is well ventilated for the next 24 hours. Do not spray on acrylic glass cables. The coating can be removed at any time by wiping with water and a little washing-up liquid. It is advisable to cover areas in the immediate vicinity that are not to be treated. The provider cannot accept any liability in connection with the application, as it is beyond its control.

Further information

The Killtec agro plus treatment should be repeated if necessary. The long-term effect is approx. 4 weeks. In the case of heavy dust formation with settling on the walls, it may be necessary to repeat the treatment at shorter intervals. Do not mix Killtec agro plus with white lime.
