Contains the active ingredient brodifacoum (anticoagulant); a single application may be sufficient to kill the mice, the effect usually sets in after approx. 4-10 days. For trained professional users only.

Mode of action

The active ingredient brodifacoum belongs to the group of anticoagulants. It inhibits the blood’s ability to clot and causes internal bleeding. The bait contains a bitter substance that makes the substance unpalatable to humans and pets, thus reducing the risk of accidental ingestion.

Area of application

For the control of house mice and Norway rats indoors and outdoors in the immediate vicinity of buildings (e.g. rodent paths, nesting sites, feeding areas, holes, burrows).

Instructions for use

Before applying bait, determine the rodents’ preferred locations and assess the cause and extent of the infestation.

Remove possible food sources and drinking troughs for rodents (e.g. spilled grain, food waste) or make them inaccessible.

Place baits in the immediate vicinity where rodents have been observed; protect baits from the weather (rain, snow) and do not place them in flooded areas.

Replace baits if they are soiled or damaged by water; do not open sachets and only use them in tamper-proof bait stations.

At the start of baiting, check baiting sites at least after the 5th day and then weekly (also applies to measures over 35 days). Search for dead rodents at each inspection visit and dispose of them properly.

Do not use the product for permanent baiting or for pulse baiting. Once baiting is complete, remove all bait and dispose of in accordance with local regulations.

To avoid new infestations: Remove food sources or make them inaccessible, remove garbage as shelter, remove vegetation from buildings and close off access points (crevices, holes, cat flaps, drains).

When applying around buildings: Do not apply the product directly into the soil (e.g. in rodent burrows or holes).

Dosage

Norway rat: 100-200 g per bait station; place bait stations approx. 5 m apart.

House mouse: 20-40 g per bait station; offer bait stations at a distance of approx. 5 m.

Safety instructions / precautionary measures

Read and follow the label, instruction sheet and all information provided before use.

Place product out of reach of children, birds, pets, livestock and other non-target animals.

Prevent the product from coming into contact with food, drinks, animal feed, kitchen utensils and preparation surfaces.

Do not eat, drink or smoke during use; wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly after use.

Rodents can transmit diseases (e.g. leptospirosis). Do not touch dead rodents with bare hands; use suitable protective gloves (e.g. nitrile gloves) or tools such as tongs.

When placing near bodies of water, ensure that the bait cannot come into contact with water.
